Here are some of my experiments with Infra Red photography (wavelengths below normal visual range). I find it fascinating and it has brought back the excitement and intrigue of photography, which has been a bit lacking for me as cameras moved from film to digital.
I have a Sony A5000 that has been converted to “Full Spectrum” which means it renders IR and UV as well as the normal spectrum. IR images lend themselves to extra on-camera filtering, as well as complex post-production.
This type of imagery does seem to favour the gothic and sinister.
