The protests were attended by many young people, and the iconic Red Bloc. They did depend on the police being compliant, and only occasionally arresting people.\u00a0 This has changed as the ruling class sees how blocking roads is a threat. Although XR takes great care to explain to motorists and bus passengers why it is disrupting transport, anger has erupted from people impeded in this way.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery
